running for education, health & tourism
This event is aimed at promoting tourism, heath and education in Taita Taveta County and also supporting and helping the local communities around the Sagalla area.

A Total of 24 University scholarships were issued during the inaugural 2022 Marathon, courtesy of Diaspora University Town.
road rehabilitation
Improving and renovating the road network around the Sagalla area and especially on the marathon route
tourism
Promoting the "1 Million tourism plan" which will be facilitated by Tourism Product Development and Diversification.
infrastrucutral upgrade
raising funds to improve the infrastructure and educational institutes within Taita Taveta County.
